What to Expect in Individual Counseling

Your First Appointment

We take time to get to know your goals, history, and needs. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels right for you.

Session Length

Each session is 30 to 60 minutes, giving you space to explore your thoughts at your own pace.

Frequency of Visits

Meet with your therapist weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed. Your clinician will help you to evaluate what frequency aligns with your treatment needs and goals.

Mental Health Care That Reflects Your Needs and Values

Our group counseling services are grounded in proven therapeutic methods that foster growth, insight, and meaningful change, including:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Many groups use CBT to help participants identify negative thought patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop healthier coping strategies in a supportive, peer-driven setting.

Clients learn mindfulness-based practices to improve emotional regulation, manage stress, and increase self-awareness, all while being guided through real-time application with group support.

Guided sharing and constructive feedback from others in the group promote perspective-shifting, accountability, and personal growth through community insight.
